9. Warranty & Service

Warranty

Micro® Mobility Systems is known worldwide for the manufacturing quality of its scooters. The insistence on the high quality of the materials used for every part of the scooter and their durability are the main reasons that have brought Micro® scooters to the first position of manufacturers around the world.


For this reason, there are very few cases in which a scooter can have manufacturing defects.


But to cover even these rare cases, Micro® offers a one (1) year factory warranty on all Micro® scooters and bikes from the date of purchase of the scooter or bike.


In the event that the customer discovers factory malfunctions or manufacturing defects within 7 days of the date of purchase of the scooter, SCOOTERISE will replace the product within 10 working days, if available. The customer must contact SCOOTERISE and return the product within 15 days from the date of purchase in its original packaging and with all the accessories that were included in it and have proof of purchase (receipt or invoice). If the product is found to have manufacturing malfunctions or errors that are not due to misuse or natural wear and tear of the product, SCOOTERISE will replace the product within 10 business days, if readily available. If the product is unavailable, the customer can expect the introduction of the product as determined by our company and if this has not been canceled, the free repair of the scooter if the appropriate spare parts are available, choose another color of the same model, choose another product of equal or greater value or request a refund of the product value.


In the event that the customer discovers factory malfunctions or manufacturing defects after 7 days and up to 6 months from the date of purchase, the customer should contact a SCOOTERISE representative to determine the details of a free scooter repair or replacement with new if available.


Repair or replacement of Micro® scooters is at the discretion of the manufacturer who will determine whether the product can be repaired or should be replaced.


90% of Micro® scooter parts can be replaced with new ones unless there is an inability to supply a specific part. For this reason, the replacement of a scooter is carried out only in extreme cases.

During the warranty period, in case of repair and if the malfunctions are due to a manufacturing error and only then, the costs of repair and replacement of spare parts are completely free.


The warranty does NOT cover:

  • Natural wear and tear (brakes, wheels, handles, etc.)
  • Damage caused by improper use and storage (eg appearance of rust due to exposure to seawater or other water, prolonged exposure to the sun, etc.)
  • Incorrect assembly
  • Careless use
  • Use by persons whose weight exceeds the weight limit set by the manufacturer


Micro® accessories do not come with a warranty.


Service

Micro® scooters are built to last for many years of "hard" use.


90% of the parts of Micro® scooters can be changed with the corresponding spare parts. That's why Micro® offers a full range of spare parts to repair any malfunctions that may occur during use over the years and restore your scooter even to its original condition.

The repair time and cost will be communicated to you immediately after the inspection carried out by a specialized partner of the company who will proceed with the repair after your approval.


10. Product Returns & Exchanges

The customer has the right to return for any reason a product received from an order on micro-scooters.gr and to request the replacement of the product or the return of the value of the product by following the instructions below.


Change of Products

Any change must be made within 15 days from the date of receipt of the products by the customer with the corresponding purchase document (receipt or invoice). The products to be exchanged must be received by SCOOTEIRSE intact, in their packaging accompanied by all the accessories that were contained in it, without having been opened or assembled and the products with which the customer chooses to make the exchange must is of equal or greater value.


Products that have been used or show signs of use or whose packaging is not available or is not in its original condition or packaging accessories are not included are not accepted for return or exchange.


The customer is fully responsible for the shipping costs of the product to be changed to our company and the shipping costs of the product chosen to be changed by our company.


Return & Replacement of Defective Products

The return and replacement of any defective products should be carried out within 15 days from the date of receipt of the products by the customer, having the corresponding proof of purchase (receipt or invoice). Replacement of the product can be carried out if its packaging is presented (so that the product can be returned to the supplier company) and if the defect is due to a manufacturing error and does not come from misuse by the consumer or violation of the instructions for use of the product (appearance of rust due to exposure to seawater or other water, abandonment in the sun, falls and careless driving, climbing by a person whose weight exceeds the endurance weight limit stated by the manufacturer, etc.).


Shipping costs for the defective product to be returned or replaced are borne by the customer, while in case of replacement or repair, shipping to the customer of the new or repaired product is free of charge.

Money return

In case you do not wish to change or replace the product of your order, you have the possibility to choose the return of the price of your order excluding the shipping costs to and from our company.


Immediately after receiving the product to be returned and once it is verified that it and its packaging are in perfect condition, a representative of micro-scooters.gr will contact you to define the method of refund. The refund will be completed within 15 days from the date of receipt of the returned product by our company.


If you have paid for your order by cash on delivery or deposit to a bank account, the refund of the product value will be made via bank deposit (bank charges are charged to the customer), while if you have paid for your order via PayPal, the refund will be made via PayPal Refund* service.


*Refund amount may be reduced as PayPal company withholds a percentage of the amount as a commission for their services provided.


In each of the above cases, the replacement, return or compensation of products purchased from micro-scooters.gr can be accepted if the customer contacts SCOOTERISE within 5 working days from the date of delivery of the order to the customer.



11. Cancellation of Order

The order can be canceled in the following cases:

12. Delivery Time & Shipping Costs

Shipping Time

Orders placed on micro-scooters.gr until 14:00 on a working day are delivered to the courier company on the same or the next working day, while those placed after 14:00 on a working day are delivered to the courier company on the following working day .


Orders are delivered on working days from 09:00 to 18:00.


If you wish to receive your order on Saturday, you can contact a representative of our company by calling 216 700 3277 to state your request and define the relevant delivery details.


Delivery time

The delivery time of orders to regions within Attica is 1-2 working days from the day of completion of the order, while the delivery time of orders to the rest of Greece is 1-3 working days from the day of completion of the order.


In the above delivery times, island and hard-to-reach areas are excluded, for which the delivery time is set up to 5 working days.


For shipments within Attica, you can specify a delivery time of 3 hours (e.g. I wish my order to be delivered from 11:00 to 14:00), without any additional charge, by writing your relevant request in the "Comments & Observations" field that is on the "Order Completion" page or by calling us at 216 700 3277 to state your request to a representative of our company.


Setting a delivery time may not be possible if your order has already been shipped.


SCOOTERISE bears no responsibility for any delay in the delivery of the customer's order in the following cases:


The order has been received by the respective courier company.

It is not possible to contact the customer (by phone or email) to deal with any problems with the order or with its payment (eg your registered details are not correctly entered or updated).

In cases of failure to deliver or refusal to receive, the customer is responsible for contacting the courier company and defining the method and time of receiving the order.

Shipping / Delivery Methods

Orders destined for delivery within Attica can be sent and delivered either by a SCOOTERISE company partner or by the courier company Speedex.


Orders destined for delivery to the rest of Greece can be sent and delivered via the courier company Speedex.


For orders with a large volume and weight, delivery with a transport company is recommended. In this case, the possibility of cash on delivery is not given and the payment of the order is made by deposit to a bank account.


13. Shipping Costs

For orders from €79.90 and above, shipping costs are free for shipments throughout Greece*.

For orders under €79.90, shipping costs are set at €2,99 for shipments throughout Greece*.

In case of refusal of receipt or impossibility of delivery of your order, the products are returned to our company immediately or after the end of 2 working days.

If the customer wishes to repeat the shipment, the initial shipping costs and the costs of the repeat shipment are the sole responsibility of the customer.

If the costs of the original shipment were zero, the customer bears the costs of the repeat shipment.


14. Order Delivery Delay

The delivery of your order may be delayed for the following reasons:

micro-scooters.gr is the official online store for Micro® products in Greece. Our company is the exclusive importer of products from Micro® factories located in Germany and China. For this reason, a product may be delayed at customs or in transit, resulting in it not being available within the scheduled dates. In this case, we will contact you to ask if you would like us to deliver your order without the unavailable product or suggest an alternative. This product will be shipped to you immediately upon receipt by our supplier.

The product you ordered has already been discontinued and is not available. In this case, a representative of our company will contact you immediately to give you all the alternatives.

During periods of extreme weather or strikes as well as in any case of force majeure, which may affect the transport and delivery of your order.

In case it is impossible to communicate with you by phone and/or by e-mail (if there is a problem with your order, either in relation to the product or in relation to its payment, e.g. the your registered details are not correctly updated or the courier company declares undeliverable).


15. Payment Methods

Credit Card via PayPal Express

If you have chosen to pay for your order via PayPal Express, by clicking the "Complete Order" button, you will be taken to the PayPal page where you can complete your payment by following PayPal's instructions.

Pay on delivery

Cash on delivery does not apply to shipments with bulky or heavy items handled by a carrier.

18. Offers and Discounts

micro-scooters.gr periodically carries out sales on specific products, as well as promotions with a reduced final price resulting from the combination of specific items. In the event that an item has a discount price but also falls under a promotion where a discount is applied, (eg buy 2 scooters and get 10% off) only the original discount price will apply and the discount from the combination of items will not apply .
